Bo Peng, Professor, Chinese University of Petroleum

Prof. Bo Peng is professor and doctoral supervisor in Enhanced Oil Recovery Research Centre, China University of Petroleum (Beijing). In 2005, he obtained his doctorate degree at the University of Bergen, Norway. His main research fields are enhanced oil recovery (EOR), CO₂-EOR, oilfield chemistry, physical chemistry and fine chemicals (polymer and surfactant). He has been in charge of "key technology of CO₂ flooding" program, national science and technology major projects of "heavy oil thermal recovery after chemical compound displacement", WP2 "China-Australia CO₂ geological storage CAGS project", "physical chemistry reaction law of carbon dioxide storage in salt water layer" and a number of related oil projects.
