Aiguo Pei,

Director of UK-China (Guangdong) CCUS Centre

Mr Aiguo PEI, joined in work from July, 1996. He is a Senior Engineer with the Rank of a Professor, and also a National First-Level Registered Structural Engineer.

Mr Pei is working at GEDI and has experienced as the  Director of Hydraulic Structure Room, Project Management Department, Environmental Protection Department and other departments, and he was the Chief Engineer to in charge of  large projects’ design, the Project Manager of mega projects, Assistant of  the President and the General Manager of Power Generation Engineering Company, etc. Currently, Mr Pei is the Chief Engineer of GEDI. He has excellent achievement in Thermal Power, Nuclear Power, Offshore Wind Power, Environmental Protection, as well as Project Management and Business Management.

Being the director of UK-China (Guangdong) CCUS Centre, Mr Pei'role in the Centre is to promote the exchange and cooperation in CCUS, both domestically and internationally, along with Clean Coal Technology Research and Industrialisation, to develop new technologies of Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage in China, in order to cope with issues of climate change and environmental.
