Pengchun Li

Pengchun Li has worked in the South China Sea Institute of Oceanology (SCSIO) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences since 2009.

He specialises in carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) and his research interests include offshore CO₂-EOR and carbon sequestration. His expertise lies in geological analysis and simulation related to CO₂-EOR and carbon storage. Since 2010, he has led and completed several projects related to CC(U)S offshore Guangdong Province, China. He has a PhD in structural geology from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
